You have to find out which will be the best autobiography for YOU to read! What appeals to a particular reader may not interest someone else. It mainly depends on your interests and how well you can relate to the protagonist. Also, it depends on your purpose for reading the autobiography.

In no particular order, the following are a few autobiographies/biographies of personalities varying from entrepreneurs to scientists to spiritual gurus.

Losing my virginity-Sir Richard Branson

This is the story of how British business tycoon, Sir Richard Branson started from the very bottom to create the Virgin group of companies. Looking forward to reading this before the end of the year, I have heard a lot of praise for it.

A book for the spiritually inclined. The story of one, Mukunda Lal Ghosh(who later on became the Paramahansa), born in an affluent family in Bengal in 19th century India, he spent his entire life searching for God, for the ultimate truth.
